  • 1.  Cannot Deploy Image to Lenovo E320

    Hi All

    I have recently taken a sucessful Windows x64 Capture from a Lenovo E320 using Deployment console 6.9 SP5 . The issue is when i try to deploy this image to another Lenovo E320. I get the  "configuring computer" status in the Console window and the Lenovo E320 Screen stays at the Splash Boot prompt

    Any ideas what i need to check to investigate further?

    What did you see on the console of client machine ? That will help in finding out what is happening .

    Thank you. I logged a call and was told that the the reason the image did not deploy successfully is because the lenovo E320 has a EFI Bios. This is not currently supported by deployment solution. The workaround is to set the SATA mode from ACHI to Comptaibility Mode and reinstall windows and recpature image and then deploy which should work

    This has now been resolved by changing the Bios settings to as attached. Then Installing Windows and recapture of image. The Bios settings must be the same on Source and Destination.
