  • 1.  Can we block sharing of MP3 files through SEP 11.x

    Here in our office, it is notices that most of the users shares huge amount of mp3, avi etc.  files across LAN and WAN segments which does choke the bandwidth.

    Is there are way wherein we can block the file transfer based on the above extention in LAN and WAN segments.

     

    Note: We only want to block the file transfer. User shall be able to paly the file which are available locally.

    Pete,

     

    The first link which u hav provided, you can scroll down wherein you will find the query which was adressed by me, but there were not update.

    Also i want to block user sending the file over LAN and WAN and not the downloading over Internet.
