  • 1.  Brightmail Spam Definition Download

    Hi all,

     

    How can I verify what spam filter it has downloaded/using on the Brightmail Gateway Appliance?

    The only thing I see is on the home-tab where it says "Spam Definitions: x Minutes ago", but I have a feeling that it is not updating well, the conduit logs shows no errors.

    From the dashboard of the Control Center, click the link that says 'Details' beside 'Hardware status'. Click the 'Software and Services' tab. Under Scanner, click the link for your Scanner.  Under Scanner, expand the '+' sign beside the Conduit.  On this screen you should get an idea of the different spam rulesets and when they were last updated.
