  • 1.  Automatically delete quarantine files

    Does Symantec have a tool that can automatically delete the quarantine. I realize that there are no permissions set on the quarantine folder and in order to delete it manually, you need to add the username and assign the appropriate permissions, this is all by design I'm sure but what just curious.

    I think the better way is in AV/AS policy--->Quarantine set the option as delete the quarantines if it reach a particular amount of disk space say 50 Mb.

    There is no such tool or Utility. But as Aravind mentioned this can be configured with Disk Space or Days, below is the screenshot

    Thank you both, this is what I ended up doing but did want to check to see if there was anything else.
