  • 1.  Admin web interface started but not serving HTTP content

     Hello,

    I am evaluating the Windows version of SAV for NAS, have downloaded the trial version (SymantecAntiVirus_NAS_5.2.10_Win32_IN.zip), installed with no errors on W2K8x64, service is started and listening on port 8004 but when connecting to it I can enter any 5 characters, then immediately it send this 5-character answer and disconnect:

     C:\> telnet localhost 8004

         §♥☺☻☻

    Connection to host lost.

    Any hints?

    Hello,

    when browsing to the web interface, you need to go to https://<ip>:8004

    thank you. was mislead by the installer dialogue, that stated: HTTP port=8004, HTTPS port=8005
