We going to create IE9 virtual package and for that we following below document.

www.symantec.com/connect/downloads/internet-explorer-9-windows-7-layer-definition-file From above document we stuck on below step

  1. Right-Click the .EXE file (ie9-win7-x.x.x.x.EXE) and run as administrator. This will invoke swvldf.exe (Layer Definition Tool) with the proper parameters to create the IE9 on Windows 7 virtual application layer.

We faced error

[13:01:44.793] [INFO] [DEF2LAYER] [Creating File Repository] :HTTP Download

[13:03:05.898] [ERROR] [DEF2LAYER] [Creating File Repository] :Error in: ProcessFileSourceTags()

Attempt to create virtual application layer failed with error: 6025

through Symantec workspace virtulization tool its not accessing.but when we access https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/sites/default/files/ie9patch-1.1.1.zip website separately in explorer it is opening.
