Hey , I would first thank you for this article, and if I may, I have only one question,

when using "Automatically uninstall existing security software" option, if this security software is protected by a password , is their anyway to define it in symantec third-party tool that will uninstall it? or the only way is to deactivate the password protection for the AV before deploying SEP ?

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

the new MP1 cannot solve this problem:

http://esd.element5.com/publisher/50364/proxy.cgi/62438//connect/de/forums/conflict-between-sep-121-and-citrix-profile-management

BUT - the workaround - disable BASH (which works in RU1) is now with MP1 not working

at the moment the complete CTX environment has a big problem

i hope Symantec can help - i opened a Prio 1 ticket

please do not install MP1 in CTX environment  !!

Hi Chetan,

Thanks for sharing knowledge base for New version of SEP 12.1. Symnantec documents says at present single SEPM can support upto 50000 clients. Is there any changes to  client support limit increased with new version from existing 50000 on single SEPM with SQL Database?
