Run Liveupdate to update BESR 2010 to BESR 2010 SP1 (9.0.1.36216) or Uninstall BESR and install SEP first

Reason: Corrupt Liveupdate/Pending System Changes
Solution
Install Liveupdate first downloading from the stp.symantec.com site
Following the Pending system Changes Steps
CreateProcessAndWait( LUCHECK.EXE ) returned 206
Reason: Conflict with Legacy product installations, Incorrect permissions for LuComServer, or Invalid folder redirections
A) Invalid folder redirections
Windows 7 makes use of internal links and redirections that may not be understood by legacy installations and legacy software. To accommodate this, we may have to check the settings that Windows 7 uses to determine certain folder locations within the operating system itself. Confirm that the settings are pointing to actual physical folders.
Click on Windows Start Button
In the Run Box type regedit
Click OK
Navigate to the following
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\AppData:
Change the value=%APPDATA% to value=%USERPROFILE%\AppData\
Change the value=%APPDATA% to value=%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming
Change the value=%USERPROFILE%\AppData\ to value=%APPDATA%
Note: Verify the physical folder exists, \Users\[local user]\AppData, before finishing the renaming process. In addition, verify the value of the other keys located within the AppData folder, they all should be alike.
Reboot
Right-Click ‘Run as Administrator’ and run Setup.exe
B) Conflict with Legacy product installations
Rename Autoexec.bat and Config.sys to *.bak
Note: If you have not installed any legacy products on your Windows 7 machine Autoexec.bat and Config.sys should NOT be created
C) Incorrect permissions for LuComServer
Start - Run - Dcomcnfg: Component Services, Computers, My Computer, DCOM Config, LuComServer,
Select Properties, Identity tab
Select the "This user" option
Choose a Local Administrator account. Use the Browse button if necessary; the account name must be prefixed by machine name to be recognized.
